A new enhancement for Simple Comment Editing allows post authors to bypass cookie authentication and edit their own comments left.
This was made possible by a pull request from Jesse Norell
This new update is aimed at users who choose not to use cookies for authentication and works for logged in users only.
For anonymous commenters, Simple Comment Editing works as default with a cookie set and countdown timer.
