After seeing that WP Plugin Info Card has not been updated in over the past three WordPress releases, I emailed the plugin author (Brice Capobianco) and asked if he would consider letting me take over development. He happily agreed and I released the first update with support for a Gutenberg block, which makes adding the feature a breeze. You can see a Gutenberg example below.
I plan on adding another block that supports the query shortcode, and fielding support requests and growing the plugin further than the 300+ installs it currently enjoys.
