Simple Comment Editing 2.3.0 Released With Support for Simple Comment Editing Options

Simple Comment Editing 2.3.0 has been released. Simple Comment Editing has always been the easiest way to allow users to edit their comments on your WordPress site. Now, Simple Comment Editing is now more powerful with the Simple Comment Editing Options add-on.

What’s New in Simple Comment Editing 2.3.0?

Simple Comment Editing 2.3.0 has added a lot more filters to fine-tune control over how Simple Comment Editing operates. Through filters/actions, you can now customize Simple Comment Editing as you see fit.

This version of Simple Comment Editing requires WordPress 5.0 mostly due to the translation strings in JavaScript that WordPress 5.0 supports.

As a result, the 90-minute time limit on Simple Comment Editing has been removed. Before, Simple Comment Editing used a look-up table. With WordPress 5.0, the look-up table has been removed.

New filters/actions allow you to customize Simple Comment Editing as you see fit.

Simple Comment Editing Options

People on the support forums and in reviews have praised Simple Comment Editing for working outside the box with no configuration needed.

However, not everyone is a programmer, so we thought it was best to introduce an admin interface where you can customize Simple Comment Editing to your liking.

Some options you may like:

  • Edit the timer
  • Hide the timer
  • Disable/Enable comment deletion
  • Choose a button theme
  • Store edited commments and view an edited comment history
  • Receive email notifications when a user edits or deletes their comment
  • And much more!

See an overview video of Simple Comment Editing Options. There’s even a coupon code that will get you 50% off Simple Comment Editing Options through December.

Conclusion

Simple Comment Editing will always be the simplest way to allow your users to edit comments in WordPress.
